Random posting is random results.
Most people treat content creation like throwing spaghetti at a wall. Monday they post a selfie, Tuesday a hot take, Wednesday nothing, Thursday a meme. No pattern. No strategy. No growth.
A content strategy answers three questions: What topics reinforce your expertise? Who specifically are you creating for? What action do you want people to take after consuming your content?
Three pillars, infinite content.
Content pillars are the 3-5 core topics you consistently create around. They prevent you from drifting off-brand and give your audience a reason to follow you.
Example for an AI engineer: Pillar 1 = AI tutorials and how-tos. Pillar 2 = Industry insights and predictions. Pillar 3 = Behind-the-scenes of building projects. Pillar 4 = Career advice for tech professionals.
"I'm a [role] who helps [audience] with [problem]. Generate 5 content pillars for my personal brand. For each pillar, give me 10 specific post ideas that demonstrate expertise and provide value. Mix formats: how-to posts, opinion pieces, case studies, quick tips, and personal stories."
That prompt gives you 50 post ideas. At 3 posts per week, that's over 4 months of content planned in one AI session.
